Internship Description:
Elite Research is a global provider of research design and statistical consulting. Our business is
supporting academic, medical/health, and nonprofit researchers and companies in designing, collecting,
analyzing, and reporting their research.
A limited number of internships are now available for researchers/students seeking to improve their
knowledge of research procedures, data cleaning and manipulation, basic and advanced statistical analyses,
data presentation, and statistical report writing by working on a diverse set of projects and workshops. We
offer a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment, and are looking for individuals who are detail oriented,
motivated, take direction well, and interested in continually learning new procedures and topics.

Experience/Education:

  • Full or Part-time student pursing a Master’s degree or PhD with strong academic record
  • Successful completion of Basic or Introductory Statistics and Research Design (or equivalent) courses
  • Academic or work experience performing basic data analysis using a statistical computer package such
    as SPSS or SAS
  • Research Experience Preferred

Required Skills:

  • A solid command of the English language
  • Familiarity with SPSS and/or other statistical software
  •  Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word
  •  Ability to operate with purpose, urgency, accuracy and professionalism in any setting

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate excellence in attention to detail and follow through
  • Self-starter who must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate with non-statisticians to interpret statistical findings
  • Strong attention to detail

Compensation:
Compensation offered in the form of access to a wide variety of knowledge and skills. Consideration for
academic credit based on performance and university guidelines. Strong employment/higher-education
recommendations provided based on performance.
