Elite's statistical consulting team is excited to announce that Columbia University’s proposal has been approved to evaluate an intervention designed to change attitudes and behaviors regarding mental illnesses during early adolescence. The goal is to enhance knowledge by changing inaccurate beliefs about people with mental illnesses, improve the lives of children and adults with mental illnesses, and induce help-seeking behaviors that bring people to appropriate mental health services. It is funded by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), and it will take about four years to complete. Elite’s role in the project involves René, Wyndy, and Jackie advising them on the study design and data collection, in addition to running the analyses and assisting them in interpreting their findings.
