Early Career Mentorship & Training
What is it? Early career mentorship and training services are geared towards researchers with less than 3 years of relevant work experience. Specific trainings are suggested to learn and solidify valuable knowledge and skills, which then enable researchers to determine the right career path for them. Mentors tend to act as advisors and may not be explicitly from the same field but understand how to navigate the general territory; they are capability-related.
We value the ability to think both as statistician and researcher, which is why we offer early career mentorship and training. Whether you are a graduate student or a recent PhD, learning to apply your knowledge through statistical analysis or relating your statistical knowledge to the applied sciences is a critical step to your well-funded future. Coaches provide oversight and guidance to a client to help them reach pre-established goals; a mentor is someone in a similiar field (usually) that imparts or shares their knowledge and experience for the growth and development of another.
