Funder Selection

Selecting a funder goes in tandem with your specific research strategy.  Varying levels of research are aptly paired with varying levels of funding. Miscalculating this step could set you back in both timeline and resources. But, when your research is in line with your carefully crafted trajectory, you know which sandbox to be in.  Our funder selection services position you for a fundable future.

Funder Alignment

What is it?  Funder alignment is all about ensuring that the research you are interested in also aligns with the specific funder you are interested in pursuing. It seems like a basic concept, but finding the appropriate fit isn’t always clear cut. Because you are the pursuer, your plans must full in line with the priorities of those providing the funds (programmatically, the funder’s interests must align with your organization’s mission, priorities, and program plans). Funders’ priorities, programs, interest areas, application processes, and staff change, so you should never assume the same processes, even if you have submitted to them before.

Additionally, funder alignment means that the level of funding you are pursing is aligned correctly with the appropriate level funder (foundation, state, federal, etc.) – where you think you are might not be where you actually are. All of it requires a deep dive into the funding notice, parceling out exactly what the funder is seeking, and carefully asking introspective questions.

Each funding agency (foundation, state, or federal) has specific interests and requirements, which is why considerable thought should be given to ensuring funder alignment. Before you submit a concept paper or pitch to your program officer, be sure that your research or program is in alignment with the funder’s priorities. Our consultants can help you navigate research funding alignment.

What Our Clients Say About Us

I was referred to Elite Research from a friend, who is a Doctoral student from another university. He received excellent assistance with compilation of his statistics and assistance with formatting the stats. I signed up for the same services and also APA formatting and proofing. Elite gave me a written estimate up front for various services, so I could chose what fit my needs and budget. The turnaround time was incredibly fast! My classmates were extremely impressed by the professional quality of my paper and have signed up also.
