Citations and References
References to the research of other writers and researchers in your field of study puts your work into context and acknowledges others’ contributions. However, one of the biggest challenges for many writers and researchers is correctly styling or including all reference citations and sources in their manuscript. Elite Research editors check that the citations in the body of your work match up with the references at the end of the manuscript. Elite editors also check for some stylistic errors for any style in your citations and references.
Reference Formatting
What is it? Formatting references can be tricky. Different universities, grant funders, journals, and fields of study require different formatting for the reference list, and references must match discipline style guidelines so authors can be appropriately credited.
Style guides supported include, but not limited to, all editions of APA, AMA, MLA, ASA, ACS, Chicago, and Turabian.
How can we help you?
Our editors are knowledgeable in every style guide, so they can help you with whatever is required by your field and institution. To conduct this service, our editors search each source to ensure correct information is included, as well as format of references in reference lists per style guidelines, update of DOIs and URLs, and update of source information wherever necessary. Our editors also look each reference up online to confirm that other researchers can find your sources.
